Let’s face it. Everyone wants to be more successful. I have not heard one entrepreneur say, “man, I just do not want to be successful.” Or “My life would be so much better without any success.” Not one. Not ever. Entrepreneur’s DNA is different than everyone else.
We are wired to be successful. Not for bragging, though some do, and there is nothing wrong with that, because it motivates some. But, the more successful we are the more we can make a positive impact in not only our lives but the lives of others as well. A positive impact in the lives of our family, friends, and those we don’t even know.
We are wired to want more and do more than the average. We are constantly striving to improve our businesses and ourselves. But, if entrepreneurs are wired different than others, then why do the wealthy entrepreneurs seem to attract success so much easier than other entrepreneurs?
Well, after speaking to and interviewing numerous of these super successful entrepreneurs, it seems they all have the same core values. And these values, when combined, have the mind-blowing results of attracting success easily while others struggle to get it.
There are 3 common core values. And these values can be implemented to anyone’s life, not just entrepreneurs, and have a profound improvement. These core values can be simple to apply to your life or extremely difficult. Depends on how hungry you are for success.
I believe in getting to the point, so let get right to it.
The 3 Core Values To Attract Success Like The Wealthy
Surround Yourself With Others Who Are Successful. The wealthy, high performance, extremely successful individuals surround themselves with the same type of people. Why? Because you can’t discuss a 10 million vision with a 10-cent dreamer. They are not on the same level.
The conversations between the 10-cent dreamer and the 10-million-dollar visionary would be completely different. The uber successful entrepreneur is not discussing the latest episode of whatever television show is popular at the moment. And the unsuccessful individual is not discussing the ROI on a million-dollar multi-unit real-estate investment. Does that make sense?
Dan Pena, The 50 Billion Dollar Man, said, “Show me your core friends and I will show you your financial future.” Surround yourself with success and you will become successful.
If you spend most of your time with someone who works out daily and only eats clean, then sooner or later, you will pick up a few of their habits. And these habits will cause you to become healthier, right? So, begin to surround yourself with those who have what you want.
Read, Watch, And Listen To Success. The second core value is just as important as the first. Super successful entrepreneurs read, watch, and listen to success. What I mean is they read things that will increase their knowledge on their business, finances, or personal development. They watch motivational and informative videos and seminars. And they listen to podcasts or other successful entrepreneurs in person.
The average CEO reads 4-5 books a month! That’s impressive, especially considering the average American adult reads 1 book a year. Let that sink in.
Now think about this. If you only read 5 pages a day (only 5) that in a year’s time frame you will have read just under 2,000 pages. Did you know that? And if you read just 10 pages, then it would be close to 4,000 pages.
Now imagine how much you could learn about real-estate, stocks, or entrepreneurship by simple reading a few minutes a day. Now, imagine how much more you could learn and improve your life if you listened to podcasts and YouTube videos about entrepreneurship?
Why do super successful entrepreneurs read so much and take in so much information? Because they know that by taking in as much positive, knowledge elevating, state improving information as possible, that they leave no room for self-doubt or excuses. They know that if they continue to learn and apply what they learn that they can only improve the life they live.
How you spend your time will determine where you go in life.
Eradicate Negativity From Your Life. The third core value of the wealthy is eliminating negativity from their lives. Now, don’t get me wrong you can’t get away from it all. But you can eliminate the controllables. What you watch, listen to, and who you allow in your life.
Are you aware of how much negativity is spewed all over you on a daily basis? The television, newspapers, movies, music, and especially the news. In the 1950’s 90% of Time Magazine’s covers were positive in tone and content. Not now. Click rates on Time’s Magazine’s negative headlines are 63% higher than stories told in a positive tone.
And it is not just Time Magazine. It’s every news outlet available. Ever watched the news and it all be pleasant uplifting news? No never. It’s a constant bombardment of negative, life fearing, world ending, scary stories? And everyone watches the news.
Except for the wealthy entrepreneurs. They know they can keep up with the world without watching the vomit the news gives you.
