HOW TO BALANCE YOUR LIFE SUCCESSFULLY
Hello again Stronger Nation! I’m the Empowerment Coach Danny Cole. I’m an author, speaker, life coach, and Realtor and I’m here today to talk to you about balance.
And, no, I’m not talking about being able to stand on one foot, balance. And I’m also not talking about balancing the body symmetrically, even though they do have a lot of similarities. What I am talking about is finding that ever so elusive balance in everyday life everyone is searching for.
Let’s face it. Life can be overwhelming at times and feel like a circus, and you are the main attraction.
Trying to balance your career, finances, family, mental and physical health, spirituality, and relationships can be a daunting task for any man. For a lot of men, the weight of it all becomes too much and they get “stuck”. Well, I am here today to help you get out of overwhelm and get “unstuck” and find happiness and peace once again.
If you can, I want you to think about it like this for a moment. To have a good looking physique you have to have balance, right? And in order to get that good looking “balanced” physique you have to do what? Do you eat crap food packed with calories and void of protein, and workout only your chest and biceps?
No! Of course not. You have to train hard, train properly, and train all muscle groups. (Not skipping leg day) You must also include a healthy eating regimen. Without proper eating habits you will not see the results. And to get the “balanced” physique you must get adequate rest. Your muscles need time to heal after workouts in order to grow.

The same formula for balance in life is true, only different variables. You see in life you have to balance the 5 L’s. You have to balance your financial, relational, mental, physical, and spiritual areas and you will find the happiness and peace everyone is searching for.
Because what happens is when we put too much time and attention on one of the areas then it puts stress on the others. If you are spending too much time at work then you will put stress on your health and relationships. If you spend too much time on your relationships then you will put stress on work. Do you get the picture?
If you are stressed in one of the 5 L’s then you are out of balance which means you are putting too much time and attention on one of the other areas. What you will need to do is sit down and evaluate what you have going on in each area and adjust accordingly to achieve happiness and peace, or “balance”.
Just like balancing the body takes time and effort so does balancing your life. It didn’t take a day to become “unbalanced” and it will not take a day to become “balanced”. But, with effort and persistence, evaluation and adjusting, your life will no longer be a circus act but one of peace and happiness.
