MORNING MASTERY

How did you feel when you woke up this morning?

Did you feel excited, full of energy, ready to start the day?

Or did you.....

Feel tired, stressed, maybe even some anxiety and hit the snooze button a few times.

Chances are you are like most people and felt tired, stressed, and hit the snooze button.

You see, it seems today, more than ever before, we are so busy with everything going on in life we are stuck on autopilot.

And because of that most people have converted to being reactive instead of proactive.

Especially when it comes to their morning rituals. It's like the movie "Groundhog Day."

But, instead of Bill Murray waking up to "I Got You Babe" reliving the same day over and over, you are the one stuck in the time loop waking up to the same broken morning ritual, reliving the same mundane day over and over again.

Most people will follow their same broken routine and receive the same broken results. Not because they want to, but because they don't know any better.

They just react to the things happening in life instead of proactively creating the things in life.

They react in the morning by being stressed by the alarm and continue to hit snooze until the last minute and rush to get things done before they leave the house.

Then they rush through traffic to get to work so they will not be late. Then they react to all the stresses and obstacles the day presents to them. Then rush home to react to the family and their wants and needs. Does any of this sound familiar?

Well, what if I told you, YOU could change all of this.

There is a saying, "Win the morning, win the day." The day is won in the first 20 minutes of waking up, and if you create the right morning ritual you can win every day.

By applying a simple and empowering morning ritual you can literally began to change every area of your life. Tony Robbins does it. Tim Ferris does it. Oprah Winfrey does it.

Elon Musk does it. And so do so many other success individuals around the world. If you want to be success and win every day, like them, then you should do it to.

When you first wake up you are in brainwave is in the Theta state, which is the state just before you fall asleep and also the one where your subconscious mind is alert and ready to soak up like a sponge whatever you tell it.

Basically what that means is if you begin your day with an empowering ritual then you can set yourself up to win the day. Sound good?

By creating a New Empowering Ritual for your morning you become proactive to life, instead of reactive, and begin to create the life you want instead of the one you are used to.

Here is a list of things you can do to set yourself up for success in the morning followed by an explanation why.

1. Make your bed.

Why? Because by making your bed you finish an easy task. And by finishing a task you are being proactive and productive and accomplishing something early in the day.

Also, this cleans up your area and when you return home from the day when you enter your bedroom, your sanctuary, it is clean and inviting, not messy and screams, "There is still more to do!"

2. Meditate.

Meditation is the gate to peace, oneness, self-control, and success. If you do research on successful people in the world today you will see that 90% of them meditate daily.

Oprah Winfrey meditates for 20 minutes a day. Anthony Robbins meditates for different amounts of time depending on his particular routine. Ellen DeGeneres for 20 minutes. Arianna Huffington for 30 minutes. And they all say that meditation has made a significant difference in their lives.

3. A quick 5-20 rep exercise.

Not a full blown exercise, but something like air squats, push-ups, or sit-ups. This primes your body and allows your nervous system to become awake and alert and ready for the day.

4. Gratitude Journal.

If you start the day by writing 5-10 things in your gratitude journal you not only send out into the Universe that you are grateful for what you have, but will receive in return that which you are grateful for.

Like attracts like. Gratitude attracts happiness and joy. It will boost your self-esteem and leave you in a better place than when you started. I would suggest choosing something in these 5 areas. Because if you just write randomly you will eventually just write the same thing over and over again.

Choose something from: your current relationships. Your past relationships. Your health. Your talents. And something close to you, or something you can see, like a cloud, breeze, sunset, home, car, etc.

5. Positive Affirmations.

Affirmations are words, phrases, statements, or sentences that are positive and that put you in a positive state of being. Say 5-20 affirmations in a totally confident and self-believing manor. Ex. I am healthy, wealthy, and happy. I have the power to manifest easily and effortlessly. I attract prosperity daily with love and integrity. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength, etc.

In the beginning if you at least choose one of these to do each morning you will begin to see a difference. Then as the days pass you can begin to implement another one. Then another one. If you are able to get 3 out of these 5 each morning you will Win The Morning and Win The Day.

Remember, if you do not change, then nothing changes. What was Albert Einstein's definition of insanity? "Continuing to do the same thing and expecting different results."

If you want to win every day you must win the morning. And, my friend, I want you to win every day. Begin to do this tomorrow morning and watch your life improves the following month.
