RESULTS OR REGRETS? WHAT ARE YOUR HABITS GIVING YOU?
What Are Habits?
Habits are the small decisions you make and actions you take on a daily basis. Your life and whether you are successful or not, fit or not, happy or not, are a sum total of your daily habits.
Our habits are what determine what, and when, we will do something. According to Duke researchers our daily habits determine 40% of our behaviors on any given day.
Show me your habits and I will show you who you are now, and what your future will be.
Think about this for a moment. If you pass by someone in the grocery store and they have a cart full of veggies and fresh fruit, bulging biceps, and wearing workout attire, what do you think their daily habits are? And where do you think they will be a year from now?
Do you think their daily habits might include - Eating healthy? Exercising? Improving their health? What do you think their habits will result in a year from now? Looking healthier and more fit?
What about, if while you were still in the grocery store and you pass by another person and this person had a cart full of cookies and ice cream, potato chips, sodas and they were overweight. What do you think this person’s daily habits are?

Do you think that, maybe, their daily habits consist of - Consuming mind numbing calories devouring junk food? Watching hours of television or surfing the internet?
And what do you think will be the results (or regrets) of these habits a year from now? Gaining even more weight and possibly having health issues?
You see, you can tell a lot about a person by their habits. Habits will do one of two things. Cause results or regrets.
Let’s take for instance, if you are in the process of becoming an entrepreneur and you daily habits are reading self-development material, studying the field you will soon be entering into, and honing your skills for your profession then the likelihood of you succeeding is significantly increased.
But if you are wanting to become an entrepreneur and your daily habits are watching everyone live their lives on your Facebook feed, drinking with friends every night of the week, and watching marathons of The Walking Dead on Netflix, then it would be safe to say that your habits are going to set you up for failure. Wouldn’t you agree?
Do you want to start NEW SUCCESS HABITS?
Start today. If you are wanting to create the habit of reading 1 book a month to increase your knowledge then start small.
Break down reading the book into achievable tasks. If the book is 200 hundred pages then commit to reading 6 ½ pages a day. And set a specific time of day to do it.
For instance, I meditate every day. I do this first thing upon waking up. I know that my day gets pretty busy right away so I make sure I “schedule” to do it first thing in the morning to get me feeling great and putting me in the right state of mind to be successful for the rest of the day.
How To Create A Habit
Choose the habit you wish to have.
Break it down into achievable sizes.
Set a specific time each day to do it.
And before long you will have created an automatic behavior, a habit.
