WHAT DO OPRAH, JIM CAREY, AND STEVE HARVEY HAVE IN COMMON?

Life offers a lot of choices. What's your favorite color? What's your favorite food? Where is your favorite place to go for vacation? Who's your best friend? What company do you want to work for? What business do you want to start? And this is not even the tip of the iceberg.

On a daily basis we are faced with the biggest decision of them all. Will we quit and give up in the face of adversities and obstacles or if we will preserver and triumph?

A hopeful first time actor saved up some money and flew all the way from Australia to the good ol’ US of A to pursue his chance to make it on the big screen. For two years he put in his blood, sweat, and tears and went to audition after audition to only face the tough critics and hear “No.”

However, in the meantime, he did do several small free acting gigs because acting is what he loved to do. And he knew that if he wanted to be good he had to practice.

After 2 full years of pushing through trying to make it in Hollywood and only getting the part for non-paying roles he was at the last of the money he had saved. With it he reluctantly purchased his plane ticket back to his home country of Australia and was boarding the plane when he received a call.

The person on the other end told him they saw him in one of the free gigs and liked what they saw. The person on the other end was a director and offered him the lead role in the blockbuster movie Thor!

Most would have given up by the 5th, 6th, or 20th time but he didn’t. Chris Hemsworth persevered and triumphed. And there are numerous other stories like this one.

The Rock was down to 7 dollars in his pocket and he said to himself, “I know 2 things. 1- I’m broke as hell right now, and 2- one day I won’t be.” He named his company 7 Bucks Productions.

Oprah Winfrey was hired to be an anchor, but before she even made it on air she was fired. She has since gone on be worth over $2.9 billion, according to Forbes.

J.K. Rowling went from living on welfare and writing her book idea on napkins to becoming the first billionaire author in 2004.

Steve Harvey and Jim Carrey both were down on their luck and lived in their car for a period before becoming successful.

Chicken Soup for the Soul was rejected 140 times before being picked up by a publisher and now has gone on to be one of the bestselling books of all time.

These are only but a few stories of how preserving in the face of rejection and disappointment, when most other people would have thrown in the towel, and became huge successes.

You can live life with regret and defeat or live life like Chris Hemsworth, The Rock, Oprah, Tyler, Jim, and countless others who have persevered in times of adversity and become the next success story.

This is your life. Don't you deserve to live the life you desire? Don't you deserve to be happy and successful? Be persistent and persevere and success will follow you.

You are Stronger Than Failure,
